Kylie Gates – Podiatrist in Mirrabooka

Kylie graduated from Curtin University in Perth, WA in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Podiatry. Working in both public and private sectors throughout her 20+ year career and her involvement with numerous elite sporting teams,

Including: Perth Wildcats, Lions Netball and Storm Netball Club, has given Kylie a variety of experience and knowledge. 

Kylie has been an active member of the Advisory Committee for Medicare in the management of diabetes in the community, as well as presented and commented on case studies with leading health professionals in complex case management for people living with diabetes.

Kylie’s favourite Podiatry interests include ingrown toenails – surgical and non surgical approaches, routine podiatry, orthotics and sports podiatry.

Kylie is a former representative of state netball teams and was a state champion swimmer, beach sprinter and surf lifesaver. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and she still likes to play and coach netball and spend time with her daughter, Keira.

Kylie has a dedicated and loyal base of patients, providing them with high quality Podiatry and genuine compassion.

Grace Hughes 

Grace has comprehensive clinical experience with high risk feet and circulatory problems. During her time as a Podiatrist she has honed her skills in the treatment for problematic feet and enjoys the challenge of helping fix ingrowing toe nails, fungal infections and diabetic care of the feet.

Grace’s passion in Podiatry lies in exercise and sports injury rehabilitation. Using a wide range of techniques such as dry needling, bio-mechanical assessments and taping, Grace would love to help you resolve your exercise and sports injuries.

Grace is dedicated to providing a service with compassion and thoroughness, and looks forward to your next appointment with her.

Weng-Jern Leong

Weng-Jern graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Doctor of Podiatry Medicine and he is dedicated to treating all foot problems.

His passion in Podiatry lies in biomechanical analysis and correction using orthotic therapy, Other areas of interest include ingrown toe nail treatment, cracked heels and other skin care and chronic disease management.
